The Kitchener Bahà'í Community

Welcome

“Let your vision be world embracing…” — Bahá’u’lláh

Children's Classes

Children's Classes for ages 6 – 11 nurture the tender hearts and minds of children through prayers and quotations, stories, songs, games, and art. These classes help draw out spiritual virtues which lay the foundation of a noble and upright character.

Devotional Gatherings

Devotional Gatherings are a time to come together in prayer to spiritually refresh ourselves and create bonds of unity and friendship. These circles, in addition to devotions at regular Bahá'í gatherings, often include music and uplifting prayers and Writings and are open to all.

Study Circles

Study Circles are formed to discuss topics on spiritual matters and strengthen our individual capacities to be of service to our communities. The Ruhi Institute materials allow for reflection on themes such as the power of prayer, life after death and the nature of the soul. Service to others is associated with each book.

Holy Day Gatherings

Opportunities to gather to commemorate the Bahá'í Holy Days throughout the year, often through prayer, music, service and fellowship.

The Bahá’í Faith is a growing worldwide Faith of nearly 8 million followers which offers a hopeful and unifying vision of the future of humanity.

The Bahà’í Faith

Bahá’ís engage in a number of activities in neighbourhoods and villages around the world. In fact, it is one of the most widespread Faiths on the planet! Anyone, of any Faith or background is welcome to participate in building a more united community. Bahá’ís host regular, uplifting devotional gatherings, offer engaging programs for children and youth to explore their potential, study spiritual themes together in study circles and consult and respond to the social and spiritual needs of their unique community alongside their neighbours and friends.

The Bahà’í’s of Kitchener

In neighbourhoods across Kitchener, individuals and families are working together to contribute to the spiritual and social well-being of our community. Guided by the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh—the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith—we strive to put principles such as unity, justice, and service into practice in our daily lives.

Through study circles, devotional gatherings, children’s classes, and junior youth groups, we aim to strengthen bonds of friendship and foster environments where all can grow and serve together. We welcome all who wish to learn more about the Bahá’í Faith or take part in building a vibrant, caring community.
